This past week, along with my roommate, I got to meet Peeta from Hunger Games- Josh Hutcherson. Josh was here on behalf of Ally Week representing the anti-bullying campaign Straight But Not Narrow. It was wonderful being able to meet such an inspirational and rising young artist such as Josh. I was so star struck! Josh was also recognized on behalf of GLAAD for being an advocate in increasing visibility and understanding of the gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender community. He even won the Vanguard Award.

As a student attending UCLA, it made me so proud that Josh was here at our school participating in our week long events of Ally Week. It is great to see that he is using his star power to raise awareness for such a beautiful cause. Sometimes we get so consumed in our own lives and forget to help out others in the midst of everything. In between all of his work and everything else, Josh Hutcherson has proved to be someone who is not only talented, but also dedicated and caring. Now that is what makes a person inside and out just plain beautiful.
