It’s the most wonderful time of the year. No- I am not crazy. I realize Christmas was a month ago. I am talking about gymnastics season! Every weekend I look forward to cheering on our team to victory.

For those of you who don’t know, UCLA Gymnastics is one of the premier teams in the nation. The results speak for themselves. Only four teams have ever won a NCAA team championship, and we have 6! After narrowly placing second last year, our team is back better then ever, ready to take the national title home again. Just before classes started, we threw a welcome to the Pac-12 party for Utah, one of the other four teams to win a NCAA championships, with a nail biting win 196.075 to 196.025. That is the difference between a perfectly stuck landing a tiny hop. See what I mean by exciting? Last weekend, we defeated Cal by four points, with one gymnast scoring a perfect 10 on vault. That is not something you see everyday!!

Regardless of our current 2-0 record and pre-season #1 rating, UCLA gymnasts please every weekend with high-flying acrobatic feats and entertaining choreography. The team is one-in-a-kind.
