How will I know if I have been admitted to UCLA?
Applicants:
As in years past, the official admission decisions will be made available to applicants online...when decisions are public later this month. In addition, applicants that are admitted will receive a packet by postal mail. However, students that are not admitted to UCLA will only receive notification via the online site.
If you have any questions about decisions, admission, or general inquiries, please feel free to comment on the blog. We are as anxious as you are while waiting for the admission decisions to be released. Hold tight! UARS
Guillermo:
UCLA reviews each and every application in a holistic manner. What does this mean? We consider a variety of factors in a student's application, including: GPA, test scores, the opportunities available to the student and how the student maximized those opportunities, extracurricular activities, rigor of academic program, and challenges in the student's environment. No single factor alone results in a student's admission decision.
Further, it is important to not be overzealous when comparing your GPA to another person who was admitted. You might not know all the factors that contributed to that student's application profile.

Applications are not continuously re-reviewed after receiving a deny decision. We do not notify applicants of decisions by phone. We caution students and families from relying on second-hand information regarding what happened with other students.

I received notification via the UCLA online decision website that I have been admitted. When should I expect the packet that comes in the mail (I live in Washington State)?

Admitted students should receive their admission packet via postal mail by the end of this week, no later than early next week.

Does any one have feed back to any graduate programs in business at UCLA? I am currently looking at Babson, Penn State and UMUC for graduate programs but would like to know more about the UCLA's program.
Thanks-Bill
