Biography
I’m Marisela Maddox, Senior Editor for the Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools (UARS). My responsibilities include communicating with prospective and admitted students; reading freshman applications; participating in recruitment events; and, of course, write for this blog. I’ll be posting each week with information about admissions requirements, application procedures, or UCLA student life. I’m super into UCLA trivia and will pepper my posts with fun facts that you can use to impress your friends (presuming your friends are impressed by that kind of thing). My colleagues in UARS and beyond will also be helping me out from time to time, to provide their unique knowledge and keep you all on your toes.
I’m relatively new to the Bruin family, but I’m still blue-and-gold all the way.
